Experienced Dance Teacher with Artistic Administrative Duties
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
This role offers suitable candidates an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly successful and respected dance school in Aberdeen, Scotland. Candidates should have at least 3 years professional experience as a qualified teacher of dance. A high level of subject knowledge and teaching skill, as well as sound organisational and administrative skills are essential to the success of this role. The job requires a creative individual who is committed to the development of dance training, with a can-do attitude and who can work on their own initiative as well as being part of a team.
This person will primarily be involved with teaching, along with the day to day running of the school. The role requires someone who can teach at least two varying dance styles to a variety of ages and standards and will be able to provide artistic and administrative support for all projects.

Stage 2: Following an interview, suitable applicants will be invited to teach two classes of varying genres at Danscentre in Aberdeen.
CONTRACT TERMS
Salary
£24,010-£27,332 - 11 months per annum (£29,934-£34,076 pro rata).
Working Period
2 weeks prior to the start of each academic year, until academic year end (Commences August 23)
Hours
5 days, 35 hours per week with a maximum of 23 hours teaching per week.
Holiday Entitlement
5 weeks within working period plus 4 weeks during the school summer holiday term (July)
Location
Teaching: Danscentre hub and associated venues within Aberdeen
Artistic Duties: Danscentre hub with the option of flexible working.
